A popular winery in the region producing quality, award-winning wines, Mitchell Katz Winery is located at the end of the palm-lined driveway next to the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard. The winery stands on the site of the old Ruby Hill Winery, one of the first wineries in Livermore Valley, and uses some of the bricks and keystones of the original building that burnt down in 1989.
Winemaker Mitchell Katz calls his winery a family affair and is dedicated to producing single-vineyard wines from grapes that are intensely flavored and hand-harvested. This results in high-quality wines that showcase the personality of the Livermore Valley.
